Yep, I think that's a good idea Liam. Stuart, having seen it, what do you think we should put on a leaflet if we did one?

I think that anything that helps people get what's happened in the last 20-30 years with the financialisation of the economy is great. When you look at things with this perspective, combined with knowledge of the environmental crisis, it actually makes you realise that capitalism is now in its senile old age, and is a system that is collapsing. The problem is that with the left globally not in a position to challenge for power, there's limited attempts to rebuild society, and we're just left with the destruction of capitalism. It's why all our achievements, and whatever strength we can build up in our organisations are so precious.

I love a lot of Michael Moore's films, I really have learned a lot watching them. But he does have irritating political shortcomings. I'm on his email list, and any time it's near election time he's forever sending things out about supporting the Democrats, including when he actually backed General Wesley Clark, the former commander of US forces in the attack on Kosovo and Serbia, as a candidate for President!

nice review stuart!
I think an SSY outing to go and see this would be cool... maybe next week?! it's showing at the GFT from monday 1st - thursday 11th.
what do people think about producing some material around this film? we could maybe do some flyposting or do some leafleting outside Cineworld if it's showing there?
