Agree with this. However the bare facts are that Catholics are still baring the brunt of the Scottish manifestation of fascism ie right wing loyalism. It was noticeable that on the evening following the EDL/SDL protest in Glasgow that a mob of twenty-thirty EDL/SDL attacked the Catholic/Irish community with the attack on the Empire Bar where it was anti Irish racist chants and slogans shouted by the loyalist/fascist attackers.

Thing is Switzerland isn’t even that advanced in terms of “western values” compared to the rest of Europe – Women didn’t get the vote for federal elections until 1971, Turkey was ahead of them by over 30 years!

I find it rather unsettling that a developed country such as Switzerland is capable of providing such racists posters. However, we only have to look on our roads and find them there as well, which is equally bad. However, as a German I really wish that countries would support education to increase the awareness of racism just as they do in Germany. Additionally it is equally important to educate Muslims and integrate them more strongly in the society. => Better education at schools!!!

I think in a lot of issues around islam theres a real conflict between having a secular society and racism, but this example is blatant discrimination. If they ban minarets, ban churches too – I wouldn’t agree with it, but at least it wouldn’t be as obviously racist.

I like how racists always try to pretend they hate Islam because they’re so concerned about ‘they’ treat ‘their’ women, but they always use these poor oppressed women that need whitey to come and save them to illustrate how menacing and evil Islam is. Get your story straight, eejits!
