Having said that, i totally agree with the general thrust of your argument. The government's 'war on drugs' has nothing to do with public safety or scientific reality, it is simply about pandering to the hysterical right-wing press and ill-informed reactionary opinion. Cut the shite and reinstate this guy now! Scientists must not be punished for disagreeing with the state's agenda.
